Questions
Why are my iPhone photos HEIC?
HEIC is Apple's default photo format because it keeps files smaller than JPG. Many websites, Windows apps and printers don't accept it, so a JPG copy is often needed.
Is there a file limit?
No fixed limit. Very large batches depend on your device's memory, so convert around 20–30 photos at a time on a phone.
Does it keep my metadata?
Converted files don't keep EXIF data such as location. That's useful when you're sharing photos online.
Can it convert RAW files (CR3, NEF, ARW, DNG)?
Not yet. RAW support is planned.
